1. Just as her fashion cred was going up, her reputation is going down. Kim Kardashian is “the laughingstock of New York Fashion Week,” according to one report, after her husband Kanye West “humiliated” her with his antics throughout the stylish week in NYC.
2. According to InTouch, high-profile editors and writers as well as other members of fashion’s elite were whispering and laughing at Kim as she showed up for Kanye’s Adidas show last week in a bizarre leotard outfit.
3. “The whole experience was mortifying for Kim,” the source reportedly said. “She was humiliated.”
4. And that’s not all that got Kim all flustered. Her crying baby North wailing during the show—while sitting next to Beyonce and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour—drove a wedge between Kim and Kanye, who yelled at the mother of the 20-month-old!
5. “Kanye was livid,” the report said, adding “he was actually scolding Kim backstage for not being able to calm down their daughter.” Plus, Anna reportedly told Kim to leave Nori at home! Yikes!
6. Splash Kim, however, is totally embarrassed of the whole fiasco because she “hates when people criticize her,” especially for her parenting!
7. Plus, Kanye’s new influence on her wardrobe is landing her right on the top of the worst-dressed lists, which is driving a wedge between her and Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.
8. “Even her sisters tell her to tone it down,” the source told InTouch. “But she plays it off like they don’t know high fashion like Kanye does.”
9. However, Kim won’t argue with Kanye about his sartorial choices for her because it’s easier to just agree. “Kim has to go along with it because it’s almost better to [wear] what Kanye wants than to fight it,” the source continued. “She just keeps telling herself that he’s a creative genius.”
